Job Overview
Our team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting practice as an Accounting Administration Assistant. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth client communications, accurate record-keeping, and timely completion of accounting and administrative tasks.
* Client Communications: Manage client communications, including scheduling appointments, emails, phone calls, and follow-ups.
* New Client Onboarding: Assist with onboarding new clients and maintain accurate client records.
* Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with regulatory bodies, handling correspondence, notices, and routine calls.
* Document Preparation: Prepare and lodge ASIC documents, including annual reviews, director changes, and company setups.
* Deadlines and Reminders: Monitor deadlines for BAS, tax returns, and ASIC filings, and send timely client reminders.
* CORRESPONDENCE: Draft client letters, engagement agreements, and other professional correspondence.
* Invoice and Payment Processing: Prepare and issue invoices, process payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
* Practice Management: Maintain workflow in practice management software.
* Document Uploads: Upload documents to client portals for e-signing and track completion.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an individual who possesses strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential. In addition, attention to detail and accuracy in documentation are crucial. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management software is required. The ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team is also necessary. Previous experience in an accounting or professional services environment is advantageous.
