Medical Specialists EA 2022 – 2026 (Specialist Year 1-9)Up to 156 available - FTE Negotiable Full Time, Part Time, Permanent ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council.
Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.
Echuca and Moama are vibrant tourist towns with exciting cultural heritage, restaurant scene, sporting facilities, seemingly endless leisure and recreational options all within 2 ½ hours from Melbourne.

The ERH Emergency Department (ED) manages in excess of 21,000 presentations per annum.
Key responsibilities include: Deliver evidenced based care in a safe and timely manner to Emergency patients Undertake the appropriate and efficient assessment and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department in accordance with triage categories and guidelines Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to pursue a high standard of care and ensure the appropriate continuity of care Supervise and support Doctors in Training (Di Ts) and ACEM trainees at ERH; consistent with their level of training and individual learning needs Ensuring patient flow is in line with National Emergency Access Targets (NEAT) and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested Participation in On Call Roster Qualifications/experience required: Specialist registration as an Emergency Physician with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA)Significant experience in emergency medicine Demonstrated interest and commitment to the supervision, education and training of Di Ts Working for ERHAt ERH we offer a supportive and inclusive culture that offers opportunity for growth and development.
