The Role
As Bakery Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of the store. Your leadership will shape team culture, elevate daily standards, and ensure our customers feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading a healthy, positive team culture — fostering communication, collaboration, accountability and genuine care.
* Owning customer relationships — delivering warm service, handling issues with grace, and building loyal regulars.
* Maintaining immaculate store standards — cleanliness, organisation, food safety compliance, daily ops checks.
* Driving efficiency in a fast-paced environment — keeping workflow smooth, navigating busy peaks, staying cool under pressure.
* Hiring, training & coaching — developing your team so everyone brings their A-game.
* Stock control & ordering — minimising waste, forecasting needs, and keeping shelves full and beautiful.
* Opening & closing duties — ensuring seamless daily operations.
* Weekend availability — this is hospitality; weekends are where the magic happens.
* Supporting Winnie's at Home & catering streams (where needed) as the business continues to grow.
