Your impact and contribution
As the Executive Manager (Crew Lead) for Authentication, you will be an experienced professional driven by a desire to execute on the vision to deliver exceptional customer identity experiences to our customers, bankers and partners.
- You will lead a value stream to build and guide high performing squads to deliver outcomes that fundamentally shift the customer identity experience and unlock more value.
- You will define and deploy a range of strong and secure authenticators to protect customers and prevent fraud and scams.
- You will also be accountable for overseeing the implementation of an authentication assurance framework that will enable customers to access digital channels whilst protecting them during key journeys with step‐up/MFA.
- Your passion for and ability to solve complex problems is key to delivering these high‐quality solutions to market.
- You will draw from your strong digital delivery experience to constantly push the boundaries of innovation to deliver market leading capability and make CBA the safest place for customers to manage their money.
- You will partner with Group Security and Retail Technology to contribute to the vision, strategy and roadmap for authentication.
- You will have strong experience in identity and authentication solutions, protocols/standards and products, and stay abreast of new and emerging technology.
- You have a high tolerance for complexity and ambiguity coupled with resilience and tenacity to see things through.
- You have experience working in a fast paced, agile environment and use leading practices with an appreciation for the value of continuous delivery.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing and facilitation skills with a range of senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record in building high performing teams across business and technology.
- Experience in customer identity and digital security, with knowledge of various authentication methods including passwordless, biometrics, token‐based authentication and FIDO2; understanding of passive data signals for additional strength and protection.
- End‐to‐end accountability for setting the strategic direction and roadmap, as well as delivering complex initiatives.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to operate independently in a agile, fast‐paced environment.
- Proven success in implementing innovative technology and digital security solutions to strengthen controls in preventing fraud and scams.
- Expert written communication and presentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills – collaboration, influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution.
