Description of the role:
We’re seeking a Personal Assistant to join our Business Advisory team.
What makes you ‘just right’:
5+ years’ experience in a professional services environment, business advisory experience highly regarded.
A strong team-focused approach.
A willingness to take ownership of your role.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.
What your day might look like:
Follow-up on the return of signed documents, including ELDs.
Assist with monitoring team lodgement and payment programs – Tax, activity statements & FBT.
Monitor status of APS matters to ensure they are closed when the job is complete.
Prepare client fee proposals annually or for new clients.
Attend to requests from banks/financiers for financial information.
Draft client bills and manage client disbursements (e.g., Xero, super funds).
Debtor follow-ups and management.
Assist with coordinating super funds with auditors, including audit queries.
Organise tasks for the admin team.
Arrange appointments, such as monthly reviews for new staff, and book meeting rooms.
Manage PAYG instalment notices and IAS/BAS each quarter for distribution.
Handle ASIC annual company statements.
Prepare ad hoc ASIC updates and lodgements, or similar tasks with the corporate affairs system.
Maintain and update the client database.
Assist with new entity preparations, including EDR stamping if required.
