As a result, we are looking to connect with talented professionals with strong costing skills who can partner closely with the business and drive meaningful change. These roles report directly to the CFO and offer real visibility, influence and the opportunity to shape how decisions are made. The Opportunity You’ll be embedded in the business, working alongside key stakeholders across finance and operations to drive performance and inform decision-making. You will play a key role in establishing, refining and embedding costing frameworks, while acting as a trusted partner to operational leaders. Key responsibilities include: Building strong relationships with operational and senior stakeholders, becoming a go-to advisor on cost performance Partnering closely with the business to provide insights that drive smarter, commercially sound decisions Developing and enhancing costing models and standards Translating financial data into meaningful insights for non-finance stakeholders Analysing margins, variances and key cost drivers Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning Driving process improvements and system enhancement The Candidate We are open to candidates from different industry backgrounds, with experience in either: Manufacturing/FMCG environments, with strong exposure to standard costing, inventory and production environments or Infrastructure/construction/project-based environments, with experience in project costing, job costing or large-scale operational cost management In addition, you will: Be confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business Enjoy working closely with operations and being part of the decision-making process Have the ability to influence, challenge and add value beyond the numbers Bring a commercial, hands-on and proactive approach Be motivated by building or improving processes rather than maintaining the status quo Be comfortable with ERP and reporting tools such as BI.
