About the Role
Position: Account Manager
Location: Sydney, hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Employment Type: Permanent, full‐time
The Account Manager sits at the heart of Herd MSL's B2B technology practice, working across a diverse portfolio of high‐profile enterprise technology and corporate clients. The role involves delivering integrated PR programs that span both corporate and consumer communications, pitching stories to media, managing day‐to‐day client relationships, supporting creative development and campaign execution, and collaborating with agency partners across APAC. Additional responsibilities include supporting major B2B events, developing long‐form thought‐provoking content, overseeing video and social content production, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Skills and Experience
* 3–4 years of proven PR, communications or journalism experience.
* Strong media relations skills and a deep understanding of the Australian media landscape.
* Proven ability to craft and pitch relevant stories to a wide range of media, including B2B and technology‐focused outlets.
* Excellent writing and copy‐editing skills; bonus points for video production and/or social experience.
* Ability to manage time and workload, prioritise and proactively communicate up to internal stakeholders.
* Experience managing junior team members, supporting their development and helping them meet deadlines.
* Team‐player attitude.
