Program Coordinator Role
The Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic initiatives across the organisation. As a key member of the Future Hub team, you will play a vital role in ensuring project activities run smoothly and efficiently.
This position involves coordinating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements, as well as drafting clear and professional communications to internal customers. You will also be responsible for scheduling and managing program documentation, administering key program tools, and assisting in communicating change requirements into the business.
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt and flex in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is desirable, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements
* Liaise with internal departments to gather information and maintain alignment
* Draft clear and professional communications to internal customers
* Support meetings by capturing minutes, tracking actions, sending reminders, and following up
* Manage and maintain program documentation and artefacts
* Administer key program tools including RAID registers, program roadmaps, and schedules
* Assist in prioritising tasks and managing competing demands from multiple sources
* Assisting in communicating change requirements into the business in conjunction with the overall change strategy
Requirements
* Understanding of project delivery contexts
* Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to adapt and flex and deal with ambiguity
* Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
* Experience working in a project environment or similar delivery-focused role
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to think critically and logically through problems
* Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others
* Previous experience within government departments or government agencies
* Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
* Project management experience will be highly regarded
* Understanding of change management and embedment needed to shift behaviours
* Interest in or exposure to culture transformation initiatives
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications or Project Management
