Senior Clinical Psychologist Coordinator
Salary: $158,564 - $167,547 a year
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time and Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Part Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30 June 2026. We currently have 3.0 FTE available; job share and part-time arrangements considered.
These roles are based at Fiona Stanley Hospital, with time at operating sites in Fremantle Hospital and Cockburn Health as required.
Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior Clinical Psychologists to provide leadership and coordination for a specialised clinical portfolio across three streams: Acute & Medi Hotel, Rehabilitation & Aged Care, and Mental Health. The position offers senior-level clinical practice, consultation, supervision, education and service development, with clinical leadership and operational oversight of a clinical service area. The role includes opportunities to contribute to department-wide initiatives across Fiona Stanley Hospital Fremantle Hospitals Group to foster excellence in psychological practice and sustainable models of care.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for a designated clinical service area across three streams: Acute & Medi Hotel, Rehabilitation & Aged Care, and Mental Health.
* Deliver specialised clinical psychology and neuropsychology services; participate in hands-on clinical care as part of the role.
* Lead, supervise, educate and contribute to service development, innovation, and workforce capability building.
* Contribute to workforce planning, wellbeing, professional support structures and sustainability of services.
* Promote research integration, benchmarking activity and adoption of contemporary models of care.
* Collaborate with Head of Department and peers to advance maturity and sustainability of psychology services and ensure high-quality care responsive to demand.
Qualifications and Experience
* Eligibility for full registration and endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Experience providing supervision as a Board Approved Supervisor.
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and eligibility for full registration and endorsement is a requirement for this position.
* Experience in acute hospital, rehabilitation or mental health settings is highly regarded.

We are a dedicated and dynamic team of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists working across multiple campuses within the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG). We provide tertiary inpatient and outpatient specialised psychological services as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team. Our team collaborates to deliver comprehensive, targeted, holistic psychological assessments, formulation and interventions for children, adults and older adults, and their families or carers, presenting with complex medical, chronic health, cognitive, rehabilitation and mental health needs.
