About this role
We are seeking a forward-thinking, organised individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for operational efficiency to join our team.
Working closely with the Group Operations Director, this role will be pivotal in supporting our sales and administration team. As a key member of the Operations team, the Customer Service and Sales Support is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while efficiently handling sales administration activities. This role includes addressing customer inquiries, generating purchase orders (POs), sourcing products, and providing essential support to ensure smooth and effective sales processes.
To succeed in this role, we require you to be on-site for five full days a week, with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the company. This position offers excellent potential for career development for the right candidate, as we continue to expand and evolve.
What you'll do
* Act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries from customers and suppliers via phone, email, and in person.
* Respond promptly and professionally to support queries to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Greet customers warmly and provide guided tours of the showroom as required.
* Provide administrative assistance to the sales and warehouse teams to streamline operations.
* Prepare and manage Job Bags, Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Sales Orders efficiently.
* Source, quote, and order promotional merchandise and uniforms, ensuring alignment with company branding and standards.
* Assist in the creation and management of Uniform Programmes to meet employee needs.
* Assist in monitoring promotional programmes to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
* Assist in maintaining and updating e-commerce platforms, including SKUs, categories, images, and customer accounts.
* Ensure compliance with MILC Group's Internal Policies and Procedures in all tasks.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the administrative and customer service functions

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Intermediate knowledge of NetSuite would be desirable.
