People & Culture Business Partner Job Opportunity
Job Description:
* We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our collaborative and supportive team.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and coordinating case management across the People and Culture Business Partner team, while managing a smaller client portfolio with full partnering scope.
* This unique role offers hands-on involvement in shaping forward-looking People and Culture projects.
* The People Strategy 2022 – 2026 has 3 core objectives: energising our people and our workplaces by fostering a 'people first' culture; adapting our ways of working for the future; strengthening our value proposition and recruitment experience to attract and retain diverse, skilled people.
* The People and Culture Business Partners play a key role, acting as the subject matter expert for the business units they support for strategic initiatives and cyclical people related activities.
* The role advises on people practices, policies and procedures and partners with their business units to drive compliance, performance and employee engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated capability in conducting, coordinating and reporting on complex case management matters, ideally using digital case-tracking systems and analytics, in a unionised or industrial environment.
* Proven experience conducting workplace mediation and/or facilitation will be highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualifications at degree or diploma level majoring in human resources management or equivalent and/or experience in a similar role.
* Proven experience in providing a range of Human Resources generalist advice in large or complex organisations.
