Role Overview
On‑site Technician – Fujitsu Asia Pacific
Location: Bandiana, Victoria (3 hours from Melbourne). 5 days onsite, Australian Citizen only.
Security clearance required or ability to obtain (AGSVA Security Baseline / NV1 Clearance). Open to candidates with Australian citizenship.
About the role
* Support Fujitsu customers with end‑user level 1 and level 2 onsite and remote services.
* Hardware, OS, software, networks, servers, print and peripheral maintenance.
* Asset refresh, relocation, deployment and decommission – maintain CMDB data integrity.
* Proactive communication, customer expectation management and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide desktop and infrastructure support – hardware, OS, software, networks and servers.
* Respond to incidents and service requests within agreed SLA, reporting any SLA breaches.
* Maintain customer physical infrastructure – desktops, peripherals, telephony, print and AV.
* Asset refresh, relocation deployment and decommission – maintain CMDB integrity.
* Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams – status updates, delays, resolution efforts.
Requirements and Experience
* 7 months to 1 + year of end‑user device support – level 1/2, remote or onsite.
* Hardware and peripheral knowledge – laptops, notebooks, workstations, printers, AV, BYOD, mobility.
* Desktop and software application knowledge – Windows 7–10, Microsoft Office 2007–365, antivirus, small‑to‑medium business support.
* Basic Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, End‑Point Imaging experience.
* Basic IT infrastructure and network equipment knowledge – routers, switches, servers, virtualization, VPN, RSA, Citrix, VMware, hyper‑converged infrastructures.
* Current or reinstatable AGSVA Security Baseline / NV1 Clearance – Australian Citizen required.
* Strong verbal and written communication – articulate technical information to target audience.
