Dental Therapist/Oral Health Therapist | Permanent Full and Part Time roles availableAccess to salary packaging | New graduates are welcome to apply with mentorship providedAbout The RoleThis role involves providing high-quality dental care to eligible patients across various clinics, including regional rotations. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will deliver cost-effective services focused on population health, improving community well-being and fostering long-term health partnerships. Your work will be key in delivering exceptional oral care and supporting patient health.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality clinical care within the scope of practice defined by AHPRA, adhering to Grampians Health clinical standards and policies.Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical record standards.Ensure efficient patient scheduling, time management, and patient flow to support effective service delivery.Actively participate in quality improvement activities and review the effectiveness of dental services.Support local partnerships and engage with the Grampians Region Oral Health Network to enhance service delivery and community health outcomes.Skills & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Oral Health Therapy or Dental Therapy and current AHPRA registration.Operator licence for Irradiating Apparatus use (as per Health (Radiation Safety) Regulations).Strong knowledge of contemporary dental practices, particularly for diverse populations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult on dental services.Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and manage diverse patient needs.Commitment to continuous improvement in dental service delivery, particularly for disadvantaged groups.To see a full copy of the Position Description please click hereInterested?Click APPLY or if you wish to discuss the role prior to applying, contact Jacqui Nolan, Operations Director - Dental Services on 03 5320 4225 for a confidential discussion.We're actively seeking candidates for this role and will review applications as they are submitted.
