Technical Director - Ports and Marine Infrastructure Expert
Job Description:
A challenging role for a highly experienced Technical Director is available in the Ports & Marine sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering large-scale, technically complex structural engineering projects.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic technical direction and leadership across project lifecycles, mentoring engineers at all levels to support capability development and succession planning, ensuring rigorous compliance with local and international maritime codes and standards, proactively managing risk and safety considerations, building and sustaining strong client and stakeholder relationships, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-impact engineering solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive experience in structural engineering, with recent experience in ports and marine projects
Recognised qualification (Associate Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Similar)
Proven project management and design experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority
Track record of technical expertise delivering Ports and Marine projects
Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices, particularly in marine environments
