Local commercial construction, fit-out and joinery business is seeking an office-based Project Engineer / Project Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of commercial projects across the ACT.
This role will suit someone with experience in commercial construction, and an excellent understanding of architectural drawings, project coordination and communication. The role will involve assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of commercial projects across the ACT.
You will work closely with both site and office teams, to coordinate projects and communicate with subcontractors and clients.
Duties
* Assist with the planning, administration, coordination, scheduling and running of upcoming & current projects
* Business administration
* Laise with subcontractors, suppliers and clients and staff
Skills and Experience
* Must have previous experience in a Project Engineer, Project Manager or Contract Administrator role, within the construction industry
* Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project delivery
* Ability to read and interpret architectural plans
* Strong attention to detail
* Relevant experience or qualification/s in construction, engineering, or project management qualification.
* Ability to work as part of a team
