Key Responsibilities
* Business & Technical Analysis
* Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for mortgage system divestment
* Translate business rules into functional and non-functional specifications
* Define as-is and to-be process flows for open and closed account treatment
* Support system decoupling and carve‐out analysis across digital, data, and document platforms
* Define data segregation rules for open vs closed mortgage accounts
* Identify data elements to be transferred, retained, archived, or purged
* Work with data teams to map source-to-target data flows
* Support data reconciliation, validation, and completeness checks
* Ensure data handling aligns with privacy, retention, and regulatory requirements
* Analyse customer journeys and digital features impacted by divestment
* Define changes required to online/internet banking experiences
* Support segregation of authentication, access, and customer visibility rules
* Identify dependencies with downstream systems and integrations
* Data Warehouse & Reporting (RDE)
* Analyse impacts to reporting, analytics, and regulatory extracts
* Define carve‐out requirements for historical and active data
* Support separation of feeds, jobs, and reporting logic
* Ensure continuity of regulatory and management reporting post‐divestment
* Document Management (Speedview)
* Identify document ownership, storage, and access changes
* Support migration or controlled access for buyer‐owned documents
* Ensure compliance with record‐keeping and retention policies
* Stakeholder & Delivery Support
* Work closely with architecture, engineering, data, legal, compliance, and vendor teams
* Support solution design reviews and impact assessments
* Contribute to cutover planning, transition sequencing, and run‐book creation
* Support SIT/UAT with clear acceptance criteria and defect triage
Detailed Job Description:
The program requires segregation of data, documents, and data treatment rules for open vs closed mortgage accounts, where:
* Open accounts are transferred to the new buyer
* Closed accounts remain serviced internally
Role Purpose
The Technical Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business, technology, data, and compliance teams, ensuring accurate definition, segregation, and transition of systems, data, and documents in line with divestment requirements, regulatory obligations, and target-state architecture.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst on complex transformation or divestment programs
* Solid understanding of mortgage lending systems and lifecycle
* Proven experience in data segregation, migration, or carve‐out initiatives
* Strong knowledge of digital banking platforms, data warehouses, and document systems
* Ability to work with architects and engineers on technical solutions
* Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills
* Experience with banking divestments or asset sales
* Knowledge of data privacy, regulatory, and retention obligations
* Exposure to core banking integrations and downstream systems
* Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments
