Remuneration: ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
About The Role
The Information Management Team, within the Customer and Information Services Directorate, is responsible for delivering high-quality records and information management services across the department.
This includes ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of information in Objective, the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS); overseeing the creation, storage, and archiving of departmental records; and maintaining compliance with the State Records Act 1997 and associated disposal schedules.
The team also develops and implements policies and procedures, manages the records management intranet presence, and builds capability across the department through training and awareness initiatives.
The Information Management Archive and Project Officer provides a range of administrative duties to support the department's information management functions, contributing to meeting directorate objectives through the provision of appropriate services and advice to staff, clients and stakeholders.
The Officer supports specific components of the Information Management team's services provisions, particularly related to EDRMS and the associated archival program.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to information management functions and the archival program.
Support the accuracy, accessibility, and governance of information within EDRMS and related systems.
Assist with creating, storing and archiving departmental records in accordance with disposal schedules.
Contribute to policy development, procedures, and training activities to build capability across the department.
Qualifications
Essential:Nil
Desirable:Qualification in Information Management or related discipline.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to employment, renewed every five years.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, updated every three years.
