We're looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator who is either Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualified, or currently studying towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
You'll be part of a team that values reflective practice, strong relationships, and play-based learning, delivering programs that balance intentional teaching with child-led exploration – including imaginative play, music, storytelling, outdoor learning, and quiet time.
What you'll be doing
* Support the delivery of a high-quality early learning program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
* Supervise and engage children during daily routines, learning experiences and excursions.
* Contribute to program planning and documentation, with guidance and mentoring available.
* Support children's wellbeing through responsive care and positive guidance.
* Maintain a safe, clean and nurturing learning environment.
* Build respectful, professional relationships with families and colleagues.
What you'll bring
* Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently studying towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
* Have a genuine interest in child development and early learning practice.
* Be keen to learn, reflect and grow as an educator.
* Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusive practice.
* A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
* A current National Police Check (no older than six months) is required prior to commencement and must be obtained by the successful applicant.
