Your opportunity
You will play a pivotal role in inspiring our students to explore and develop their interest in the field of Science. Your expertise in general science and biology will contribute to building their curiosity, critical thinking and understanding of the natural world.
Design and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Biology (Biomed).
Foster a positive and inclusive teaching and learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Participate in extracurricular activities, school events and professional development opportunities.
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning outcomes within a professional and collaborative environment by applying your professional knowledge, practice and engagement to implement our innovative and contemporary curriculum programs.
We are seeking an experienced candidate who is able to join our dynamic and collaborative Science Department from the beginning of ****.
Qualifications
You will have:
Queensland College of Teachers registration
Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programs
Highly developed classroom teaching skills
Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning
Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees
An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
