Job Description
Here at Mars Wrigley, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Development Analyst to join our Sales team.
Reporting to the Customer Development Director – COLES LARS, this role is essential for maintaining a good working relationship between the wider Coles LARS Team and our Co-Pilots in Finance and Accounts Receivables. This is pivotal for prompt resolutions when needed.
This position is responsible for the prompt and accurate processing of customer claims, including validation of claims, regular accrual maintenance and closures, and ensuring that the COLES LARS Team follows all governance requirements for their accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build mutual working relationships with Finance & Accounts Receivables.
2. Manage the Outstanding Deductions Register (ODR) adhering to KPI targets.
3. Maintain low volume/balance of aged accruals.
4. Assist with Promax PX maintenance and act as the team’s expert for Promax PX.
5. Conduct periodic financial reporting and alignment, including period close for Coles, Kmart, Aldi, Costco & Trad Value.
6. Communicate escalations regarding inaccurate claims received by customers to the Line Manager.
7. Handle dispute resolution with the team.
8. Maintain customer administrative tools and systems, including COLES LARS Online Portals, and ensure new lines are set up for subsidiary customers such as Kmart, Coles Online, Aldi, and Costco.
9. Participate in operational meetings, including running master files and analyzing data for new customers.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills, proficiency in spreadsheet management, and a passion for process improvement. Ideally, candidates will have:
1. Tertiary qualifications and at least 2 years of industry experience, preferably within FMCG sales.
2. The ability to analyze large data volumes and translate insights into actions.
3. Strong problem-solving skills for resolving issues promptly.
4. Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information, setting clear targets, and holding others accountable.
