About the Role
We are looking for experienced carers who can provide person-centred care, promoting independence, dignity, and choice for our residents.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
2. Supporting residents' independence and participation in meaningful daily activities
3. Assisting with the safe administration of medication
4. Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with nursing and management personnel
5. Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
6. Fostering a kind, respectful, and supportive environment
Requirements
Candidates must have:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
* Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer
* Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals
