We are seeking reliable and compassionate Support Workers (experience preferred but not essential) who are confident in providing personal care, managing complex behaviours, and comfortable working weekday and weekend shifts. In this role you will support clients in their homes, and in the community ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the support.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Assist with mobility and transfers using hoists and other equipment safely
* Prompt or administer medications in line with care plans
* Provide support during the night, including repositioning, continence care, and responding to client needs
* Support individuals with complex mental health conditions and behavioural challenges, with at least 12 months of relevant experience
* Carry out light domestic tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and tidying
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organisational standards
Requirements
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
* National Police Check
* Full driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
* Strong knowledge of manual handling practices and safe equipment use
* Confident and capable with personal care, medication support, and hoist transfers
