Project Director

The successful candidate will lead project teams through collaboration with senior team members to achieve project goals.


Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare quality agreements with clients, including letters of intent and professional service agreements.
* Collaborate with the senior team to prepare, issue, and manage compliance plans.
* Administer internal control procedures, including billing, collections, expense management, and year-end activities.
* Participate in project design and technical discussions and decision-making.
* Communicate effectively through chairing meetings, issuing meeting minutes, and accurate project record keeping.
* Manage client relationships and expectations to allow effective collaboration.
* Initiate, monitor, and maintain project schedules and work plans.
* Schedule and lead internal team weekly project meetings.
* Initiate and maintain project plans and financial performance.
* Maintain a working database of project leads and active pursuits.
* Represent the firm externally to develop new business opportunities.


Leadership Responsibilities:

* Inspire and lead others by example, participate in staff mentoring, define team member expectations, empower others, and delegate where appropriate.
* Directly supervise staff and commit to direct reports' professional development.
* Develop and engage in talent strategy to find specialists, leaders, and future professionals for the firm.
* Actively engage in internal and external professional development opportunities.
* Contribute to the implementation of sustainable strategies and development of staff knowledge.
* Protect the firm from financial and legal risk.

Requirements:

* Professional degree in Architecture.
* Licensed as an architect; LEED accreditation preferred.
* Minimum 10 years of experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
* Strong experience working in Asia/Pacific region along with proven client engagement and business development acumen.
* Familiarity with standard AIA contracts and sub-consultants management experience required.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, Google Workspace, Adobe Suite.
