About the Role
As part of the submission team, you will develop and refine technical documentation across a major infrastructure and energy‑sector project. Working closely with engineers, project managers, and compliance specialists, you will translate and clarify complex technical information into structured, accurate, and accessible content. The role is based in Melbourne with a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
* Edit, and maintain high‑quality technical documentation for a major infrastructure and transmission project.
* Work with SMEs to structure complex technical content.
* Produce documentation aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and ARO's consulting‑grade frameworks.
* Working within templates, style guides, and document structures that support consistency and audit readiness.
* Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible for technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Manage version control, document workflows, and quality assurance processes.
About You
You bring a strong blend of technical capability, communication skill, and project‑delivery discipline. You're confident navigating engineering environments and can quickly build rapport with SMEs and stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
* 5+ years' experience as a Technical / Bid Writer supporting major projects.
* Proven experience producing high‑quality technical, engineering, or operational documentation.
* Strong ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear, structured content.
* Based in Melbourne with the ability to work hybrid.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
* Exposure to regulated environments or government‑funded projects.
