Job Description
About the Role:
Reporting to the Business Unit Leader – Production Chemicals, this role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacture, blending, and handling of chemical products, while maintaining strict adherence to QHSE and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with production planning
* Manufacture and blend chemical products in line with batch specifications and quality standards
* Complete batch sheets and production documentation accurately
* Ensure correct formulations, batch numbers, and quantities are used
* Perform packing, labelling, and palletising of finished products
* Maintain inventory accuracy and proper stock location within the warehouse
* Monitor stock placement in accordance with chemical segregation requirements
* Safely load and unload raw materials and finished goods
* Operate forklifts and production equipment in a safe and efficient manner
* Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant production environment
* Ensure adherence to QHSE standards, procedures, and PPE requirements
* Identify and report safety, quality, or process improvement opportunities
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
* Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or warehousing (preferred but not essential)
* Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to manage variable workloads and meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
