Medical Receptionist – Full-Time or Part-Time (Immediate Start)

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy practices located in Port Macquarie and Wauchope. This role offers flexibility, with options for full-time or part-time hours, and the opportunity to provide fill-in coverage across both clinics as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Answering incoming phone calls and handling patient enquiries
 * Booking and managing patient appointments
 * Welcoming and assisting patients upon arrival
 * Patient data entry, faxing, and document scanning using Best Practice software
 * Liaising professionally with GPs and patients
 * Prioritizing tasks and managing a busy workload effectively
 * Delivering a high standard of patient care
 * Handling billing, invoicing, and receipting for consultations
Skills & Experience Required:
 * Demonstrated customer service experience, ideally in a medical setting
 * Strong communication and telephone etiquette
 * Ability to manage and prioritize a busy workload
 * Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team
 * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
 * Responsible, reliable, and highly organized
 * Proficiency in Best Practice software is highly regarded
