Lynn & Brown Lawyers, one of Perth's most progressive law firms, located in Morley, are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Assistant/Secretary. Working closely with our commercial lawyers, experience within a busy law practice will see you quickly become an integral part of this dynamic team. Practicing for over 30 years, our team of dedicated professionals enjoys a culture that allows collaboration, teamwork, peer support and a social working environment.
In this part-time position, you will draw upon your initiative, the ability to work autonomously along with an understanding of confidentiality. You will have a professional approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
The Role
* Email and diary management
* Typing, collation and electronic lodgment of various court documents
* Drafting of correspondence
* Preparation of contracts
* Liaising with clients and third parties
* Weekly team meetings
You
To be considered for this position, it is critical that you possess the following skills and experience:
* Minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role
* Able to work 2-3 days per week
* Proactive, confident and diligent work ethic
* Strong organisational skills
* Be able to work within a team environment as well as autonomously
* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with Directors and other senior staff members
* Strong technical skills in regards to Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Actionstep/Netdocuments)
* Knowledge of PEXA, Landgate and OSR highly desirable
* The ability to prioritise your work effectively
* Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of clients
