An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Executive to join a leading Australian manufacturer of high-performance automotive products. Known for innovation, quality and a strong local presence, this company continues to set the benchmark in the automotive retail aftermarket.
As the Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within a network of company-owned and independent automotive retailers. This role focuses on driving market growth, executing promotional programs, and strengthening customer relationships to achieve sales and profitability targets.
This role will be based in Brisbane metro, effectively South of the river, Country QLD West and down into Northern NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a defined customer network across assigned territories
- Develop and execute monthly call plans and sales strategies
- Presell and implement national promotional programs and ensure compliance with agreed ranges
- Negotiate and review local marketing initiatives to support business objectives
- Provide product, marketing, and training updates to retailers
- Identify growth opportunities and implement margin improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate customer data in CRM/ERP systems
- Deliver regular sales reports, forecasts and market insights
About You:
- Proven experience in a field sales or account management role within distributor, third‑party, or direct sales operations
- Strong business development and commercial acumen
- Excellent planning, organisation, and negotiation skills
- Confident with trade maths and ROI analysis
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
- Robust communication and relationship‑building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience advantageous
- Automotive industry knowledge is highly regarded
