ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall Role

In this role you will be primarily responsible for working with the Project Management Team to oversee the management, design, and construction of both fit out and services infrastructure upgrade and remediation projects. We provide an end-to-end project management service from inception through to completion. This would include managing all stages of project delivery including scope definition and analysis, design, tendering, property acquisition, construction, program of works, variations, handover and engaging and managing relationships with head contractors, designers, engineers, and other specialists.

Major Responsibilities

·Lead and manage the design and delivery of construction projects across numerous sectors including federal and state governments, commercial, health, education, etc, specifically services infrastructure projects.

·Run project team meetings, build and maintain a diverse range of collaborative relationships with partnered design consultants, head contractors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.

·Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and lead the organisation on new projects in line with the business plan and strategic vision of Evolve FM.

·Coordinate and manage the design phases from concept, detailed design, tender documentation and construction documentation.

·Prepare Request for Tender documents and Scope of works to issue to consultants, suppliers and contractors.

·Identify strategic partnerships and actively engage with industry stakeholders and networks to identify emerging opportunities.

·Assist in preparing tender submissions and fee proposals.

·Budget and Cost management of projects

·Program management of projects.

·Manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) on the project(s) to meet and exceed HSE and welfare obligations and promote "EVOLVE FM Safety First" culture.

Key Selection Criteria

Ideal Experience

·Tertiary Qualifications in a construction specific related field or engineering services.

·Mechanical HVAC and electrical services, or construction management background specifically with mechanical and electrical services experience.

·A minimum of 5 years relevant project management experience including a proven track record of managing government projects.

·Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical services and fit out projects.

·Understanding or experience in estimating and cost planning

·Understanding of security zoned requirements

·Demonstrate a successful track record in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.

·Strong technical skills in services design management

·Strong technical skills and experience in contract documentation/administration, stakeholder management, reporting on cost and programme.

·Experience with Microsoft Project.

·Able to think strategically, innovatively and solve problems.

·Very good Excel, analytical and reporting skills (including commentary).

·Baseline clearance is desirable.

* Communication and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills
* Project Management and Service Delivery skills

* Experience in facilities management or related field
* Knowledge of government procurement processes
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Relevant project management certification (e.g. PMP)
