Job Description

As a Manager in the Financial Crime Operations, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of people and processes, including quality, volumes, rosters, systems, and workflow.

You will provide coaching sessions and formulate development plans with each of your direct reports. This includes performance discussions when relevant.

To ensure our people experience the best, this role also includes driving a culture of quality and continuous improvement by initiating regular side-by-sides, training sessions, and providing timely feedback.

Additionally, you will stay abreast of financial crime and security-related trends and emerging issues to ensure the wider team is across any changes so we can proactively identify, understand, and act on current and future risks to the Group.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Act in a discrete and confidential manner to ensure the Group's policies and processes remain confidential, and tipping-off provisions are not breached.
2. Build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, including peers, leaders, QA, and L1 Risk partners, FCC, and technology delivery teams.
3. Review and address all issues that arise relating to quality of output, ensuring any rework or remediation is completed in a timely manner.
4. Take accountability for your team's performance/targets, participating in required forums relating to quality thematics and delivering against action plans to improve results.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a financial crime, regulatory, or law enforcement operations role, preferably with leadership and management experience.

Experience in working with data, reporting, and analytics to make informed decisions is also highly desirable. Strong analytical and written communication skills, with attention to detail in documentation and decision-making, are essential for success in this role.

The ability to influence and collaborate across compliance, operations, and frontline teams is critical for this position.
