Account Director - Data Centres (Adelaide | ANZ Focus)
An opportunity to join a growing data centre organisation with assets across Australia and New Zealand, supporting the commercial growth of critical infrastructure projects.
The Role
This is a commercially focused Account Director position, combining account management and new business development. You'll play a key role in driving occupancy across existing facilities while supporting expansion across new sites.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Managing and growing key client accounts
* Driving new business and selling capacity across data centre assets
* Supporting commercial strategy across Adelaide and Auckland sites
* Working closely with internal teams across operations, engineering, and leadership
* Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Projects / Portfolio
* Live data centre facility in Adelaide with available capacity to be commercialised
* New developments in the pipeline locally
* Auckland portfolio, including a major facility currently undergoing redesign (liquid cooling transition)
* Exposure to mission-critical environments including government, health, and defence sectors
About You
* Experience in a commercial / BDM / account management role
* Background in data centres, critical infrastructure, or a related sector (e.g. telecoms)
* Technically minded with the ability to understand and sell complex solutions
* Strong relationship builder with a proactive, driven approach
* Comfortable working cross‐functionally and managing internal stakeholders
What's on Offer
* $160k - $180k base salary
* Commission ~$80k OTE (up to ~$160k for high performance)
* Hybrid working (Adelaide-based, ~2 days in office)
