The Role:
We are seeking one or more experienced payroll professionals to undertake a comprehensive manual audit of employee leave balances following a recent HRMIS payroll system transition.
This contract opportunity will focus on validating and reconciling leave data that did not transition correctly from a legacy system. Up to but less than 600 employees are expected to have been impacted.
We are looking for up to two contractors to join, and the level offered is dependent on your experience and current/previous APS level.
The initial length of the contract will be 3 months, with a possible extension.
Duties:
* Conduct a detailed audit of annual, personal, long service and prior service leave balances
* Review and reconcile leave data between legacy and new HRMIS systems
* Identify discrepancies and clearly document findings
* Manually analyse and validate data using advanced Excel skills
* Prepare structured, accurate reports outlining discrepancies and recommended corrections
* Support documentation and filing requirements for rectification activities
To be considered for this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience auditing leave balances within payroll environments
* Background in payroll, finance or related discipline
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including manual data reconciliation)
* Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail
* Ability to document findings clearly and accurately
* Immediate availability to commence
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Police Check
