About the Role 
Cooking, baking, pastry preparation, or butchering 
Assisting with supervision of kitchen staff 
Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards 
Key Responsibilities 
Assist with menu preparation and manage supplies 
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards 
Coordinate with front of house staff regarding menu items and updates 
Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of senior chefs 
Ensure high presentation standards for all dishes 
Manage food costs within specified margins 
Follow FIFO policy and maintain cleanliness and equipment standards 
Coordinate with stewarding team for cleanliness and equipment levels 
Communicate effectively with staff and report issues to senior chefs 
Support on-the-job training and development 
Perform additional duties as required 
Skills & Experience 
Competency in cooking and supervisory skills at the level of Commis Chef 
High standards in food preparation, presentation, and service 
Current Food Safety training, refreshed annually 
Participation in training programs as required
