Redpath Partners are partnering with a well-respected, national multidisciplinary consultancy as they grow their water and industrial teams in South Australia. We are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join their Adelaide office and play a pivotal role in delivering a diverse portfolio of complex infrastructure projects across the water, wastewater, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for water, wastewater and industrial infrastructure projects
- Deliver end-to-end project management including design, documentation, and construction/commissioning phase support
- Develop detailed engineering work packages and provide accurate time-based estimates for deliverables
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes
- Engage directly with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor to build and strengthen relationships
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, supporting their professional growth and promoting knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications and Skills
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in structural engineering design, analysis, and project delivery, particularly in the water/wastewater and industrial sectors
- Familiarity with Australian standards and requirements for water infrastructure projects
- Strong documentation, budgeting, and technical reporting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and communicate effectively
- A passion for mentoring and a commitment to continuous learning and career development
