About the Organisation
This community-based not-for-profit organisation supports remote Aboriginal communities across Western Australia. They deliver essential programs and services designed to strengthen communities, improve wellbeing, and provide opportunities for people to thrive on country. Guided by strong values and a focus on cultural respect, the organisation works closely with residents to ensure services are responsive, sustainable, and impactful.
The Role
This is a community-based placement requiring you to live and work within a remote Aboriginal community. As a Thrive Case Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting public housing tenants in the following ways:
* Provide tenancy advice, case management and education to residents
* Conduct home assessments and develop care plans tailored to families
* Support clients with rental deductions, arrears management and property maintenance reporting
* Build strong relationships with residents, community members and stakeholders
* Contribute to service improvement initiatives and program development
* Monitor and report on case progress against program KPIs to ensure the highest level of service is maintained.
* Support clients in practical ways, including property cleaning and garden maintenance, if needed.
This role requires someone who can balance professional case management with cultural sensitivity and hands-on support.
About You
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Case management experience (preferred).
* Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and willingness to work closely with Aboriginal communities.
* Ability to manage multiple systems and maintain accurate records.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Current C or C-A class driver's licence.
* Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products.
* Willingness to support clients in practical ways, including property cleaning, if needed.
