This is a 9-month fixed term, part-time (0.2FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2026 with possible permanency
North Parmelia Primary School (PS) follows the focus of the Classroom First Strategy which places the emphasis of learning on the interaction between the classroom teacher and the 300 students.
The Role
As a Youth Engagement and Support Worker, you should be committed to working and assisting young people. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting Student Engagement and Support staff in identifying and responding to the additional needs of students. You would work in partnerships with key services providers to coordinate and deliver activities that aim to support and engage students at risk, including individual and small group interventions. In-addition, you should undertake some administrative tasks such as data entry, report writing, meeting minutes and management of student case notes. Knowledge of or experience with school procedures and processes are highly desirable.
