We're seeking a strategic and commercially savvy Head of Retail to lead a portfolio of innovative brands across Australia. Reporting to the Managing Director with two direct reports, you'll drive growth through major national retailers (EDG, Coles, Aldi, Costco) and the independent channel. This role will own the development and execution of customer business plans, deliver distribution and volume targets, and strengthen key retail partnerships to ensure sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver the overall sales strategy across Australia.
* Manage national accounts (EDG, Coles, Aldi, Costco, Independents) and key distributor relationships.
* Develop and execute annual sales budgets and customer business plans with the MD and CFO.
* Monitor performance, conduct regular business reviews, and provide monthly reporting to senior management.
* Drive sales growth, margin improvement, and ROI through effective planning and execution.
* Launch new products and range extensions, while identifying NPD and innovation opportunities.
* Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, activations, and brand launches.
* Represent the company and its brands at industry events.
What You'll Bring
* Proven sales leadership exp in drinks, beer, wine, spirits or FMCG.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth.
* Ability to manage major national retailers and independent channels.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Experience in pricing, range planning, planograms, and category management.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to share insights.
