Senior Lighting Technician - Programmer/Operator
Salary: $80-100K (commensurate with experience) plus overtime.

Who We're Looking For
We're seeking an experienced and motivated senior lighting technician to join our team. You'll have the opportunity to bring your creative ideas to high‐profile projects in WA.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Working collaboratively within our small team under the leadership of our Production Manager to program, operate, and maintain a wide range of concert, corporate, and theatrical lighting systems.
* Lead the lighting build, installation and removal of lighting systems to industry‐best practice standards and deliver lighting designs, effects, and technical support for productions and events.
* Maintain a safe work environment including reviewing and enforcing SWMS, running toolbox talks and ensuring all works are delivered safely and in accordance with legislation.
* Represent Granston Productions professionally onsite and in communication with clients and partners.
* Contribute to designs, prep lists, power calculations, basic rigging plans, truck packs, and production documentation.
* Manage and lead teams of technicians, casual staff and subcontractors onsite to ensure seamless event delivery.
* Identify faults and resolve issues across industry‐standard and proprietary lighting systems.
* Contribute to equipment planning and technical innovation discussions.
What You'll Bring
* 3+ years technical production experience, particularly in lighting systems installation and operation.
* Demonstrated experience working with theatrical and conference lighting systems.
* Advanced programming and operating knowledge of MA2 and MA3 consoles. You will both program/plot new shows and operate time‐coded shows.
* Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, control systems, networking, power and rigging practices.
* Working knowledge of CAD software, ideally Vectorworks.
* Ability to work within tight deadlines and adapt to changing event needs.
* Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
* Proven experience leading crews in live environments.
* Strong understanding of WHS requirements within the entertainment industry, and commitment to safe work practices and effective teamwork.
* Confidence using Mac operating systems and online scheduling tools (Deputy, Current RMS).
* Willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required, and hold an unrestricted driver's licence.
