About the role
As an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at First Steps Early Childhood learning, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of young children at our childcare facility in Gatton, QLD. This permanent part-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our students in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
What you'll be doing
* Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
* Providing a safe, inclusive, and caring learning environment that supports the wellbeing and individual needs of each child
* Collaborating with families to establish strong partnerships and ensure continuity of care
* Documenting and assessing children's progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
* Contributing to the ongoing improvement and development of the centre's policies and practices
* Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of early childhood development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
A passionate, nurturing, and flexible approach to teaching and learning
A commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality in early childhood education
