Business Services Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Services Accountant to join our close-knit team in Canberra. As a key member of our accounting firm, you will have the opportunity to manage clients from start to finish and work closely with directors and a team of accountants.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and values autonomy. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, BAS, and financials, as well as building strong client relationships through excellent communication skills.

The opportunity to develop advisory skills alongside compliance work is also available. If you are looking to step into a role where you will be trusted, supported, and given full exposure to clients, this could be the perfect next move.


Key Details:

* Tax & Business Services focus
* Clients range from sole traders through to $100M+ turnover companies
* Over 3,500 clients across various industries


Requirements:

* 3+ years experience in public practice
* Experience managing a variety of clients and preparing tax returns, BAS, and financials
* Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
* Ideal CA qualified (or working towards), but open to CPA or qualified by experience
