The daily routine of a Groundsperson at Cater Care encompasses a variety of tasks, including:
Cater Care Services are seeking hospitality professionals for Grounds Person / Utility roles at our mining village Balranalds (Mildura & Bendigo Local Suburbs). Applications outside of these locations will not be considered. Duties may include the below;
- Upkeep of the village grounds including - mowing, edging and gardening
- Repair and basic trades work across the village
- Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
- Mine Site Cleaning- cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses
To get a start you will have the following :
- Previous grounds and maintenance experience in a hospitality environment 12months+
- Similar experience within a remote environment is highly regarded
- Ability to work well with other team members
- A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
- MUST hold a manual drivers’ license and forklift ticket
