Bupa Armidale is an aged care home set in a converted heritage building in a leafy residential area. Just moments from the city centre with immediate access to public transport, shops and cafes. It consists of 46 beds. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents. About the Role
As a Maintenance Officer you will be responsible for the delivery of a high standard of property services, including repairs and maintenance, to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Duties
Provide repairs and maintenance support to the care home across a wide scope of activities including:
* Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in line with the Maintenance Schedules
* Ensure the physical environment for residents is in line with their preferences and is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard free
* Landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs and waste removal
* Oversee, maintain, assess and provide recommendations on replacement of assets if, and as required
* Assist in the management of Property Services projects
Skills and Experience
* Formal qualifications; and/or Relevant skills training or experience
* Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
* The ability to solve problems independently
