Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Mechanical Fitter
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Specialist to join our team in Dubbo, working at a dynamic quarry.
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Agricultural or Road Transport who wish to transition into Plant Mechanics. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of diesel engines and emissions, drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems.
* Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles, plant, and mobile equipment.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment while working efficiently.
* Coordinate with suppliers to source quality parts at the best prices.
* Communicate professionally and clearly with all staff members.
* Liaise regularly with supervisors and quarry managers.
Key Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in repair and maintenance roles.
* A sound understanding of diesel engine operations and emissions control.
* A sound understanding of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems.
* Ability to work flexible hours.
