Port Stephens Libraries are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals with a commitment to providing a quality Mobile Library service including driving and operating the Mobile Library vehicle (noting this role requires a Heavy Combination (HC) licence), and using excellent customer service, communication and technology skills to deliver a high-level service to our community.
This role isn't your regular Library Services role! It will see you safely and effectively driving our Mobile Library Truck (semi‐articulated vehicle) to sites across Port Stephens, while also delivering library services and programs at 12 different locations on a fortnightly timetable.
While safe operation of the truck is a must, you will also need customer service experience and computer literacy skills, as you will be assisting members of the community on a regular basis.
There is room for two! The opportunities are:
* There is one permanent opportunity – working full‐time 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement. This role is on a roster basis, with shifts starting between 8am and 9am, and finishing between 5pm and 7pm on weekdays, and 8.30am to 12.30pm on alternate Saturdays.Base Salary Range: $67,627 - $74,612 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowanceYou will be working from PSC Library, Raymond Terrace
* There is one casual opportunity – providing leave cover for our two full‐time driver/operators.Base Salary Range: $46.44 - $51.24 per hour + 12% superannuationYou will be working from PSC Library, Raymond Terrace
