Sacred Heart Primary School is seeking a passionate, innovative, and enthusiastic Visual Art Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Diamond Creek. This is a part-time position, working 2 days per week, commencing the beginning of Term 3, 2026.
At Sacred Heart, we believe that art is a vital medium for self-expression, critical thinking, and joy. We are looking for an educator who can bring our art program to life, fostering a love for colour, texture, and imagination in students from Foundation to Year 6.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a Dynamic Curriculum: Design and implement a stimulating, inclusive Visual Arts program aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
* Foster Creativity: Cultivate a supportive environment where every student feels confident to explore their artistic potential.
* Showcase Student Talent: Coordinate school art displays and contribute to community art events or exhibitions.
* Manage Resources: Oversee the art budget, maintain inventory, and ensure the art room is a safe, organised, and inspiring space.
* Collaborate: Work alongside a supportive and collaborative staff team to integrate creative thinking across the school.

Position Requirements
* Relevant teaching qualifications (Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
