The applicant should have experience with research in an applied setting such as not for profit, think tank, private/consulting or government organizations, where research is rapidly translated and applied into a practice setting.Key accountabilities include:
- Collect and analyse data using participatory action research and qualitative research methods as part of the overall systemic inquiry approach.
- data collection: interviews, group workshops, observational data
- data analysis: qualitative data coding, grounded theory and conversational analysis
- Identifying implications for policy and practice based on findings.
- Communicating the results of findings to key audience through the development of various dissemination products including reports, briefs, blogs, academic articles and data visualisations.
- Undertake rapid reviews of grey literature on topics as required.
- Support development of measuring change framework in line with developmental evaluation approaches for systems change.
- Build relationships with key project partners to support project goals.
- Supporting overall project management including contributing to organisational documentation and needs
- Work as part of the team to co-create project methodologies and outputs including:
- Team critical thinking and sensemaking
- Working in an adaptive way
- Engagement and support team/project reflective practice
- Implement and manage a repository of research resources (currently Mendeley)
