The role Sitting within a large modernisation program, this role will see you act as a key finance partner responsible for developing, enhancing, and owning complex financial models that support strategic change.
You will work closely with senior program, finance, and business stakeholders to translate challenging commercial questions into clear, accurate, and scalable financial insights.
Key responsibilities include: Designing, building, and optimising complex financial models for cost-benefit analysis, scenario planning, and program-wide financial tracking.
Refreshing or rebuilding existing benefits models to support an enterprise modernisation program.
Developing a robust cost management model to track actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
Conducting sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making.
Presenting insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
Technical capability Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and scenario modelling (macros/VBA advantageous).
Experience within the insurance sector or a similar regulated financial services environment is desired.
Prior experience in management consulting, strategy advisory, or large-scale transformation programs.
Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools is beneficial.
Qualifications Relevant tertiary degree and accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
