We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Shared Services Business Analyst to join our Finance Shared Services team in our Adelaide office on a full-time basis until May 2027. Reporting to the Accounts Payable & Receivable Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the optimisation and transformation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes across APA. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on analysing current processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing smarter, technology-enabled ways of working. Partnering closely with Finance, IT and business stakeholders, you will help shape a more streamlined, automated and best practice shared services function, leveraging platforms such as Workday and Adaptive Planning.
Responsibilities
* Analyse existing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
* Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including process mapping, requirements gathering, solution design, testing and documentation.
* Drive process optimisation initiatives, focusing on automation, cost reduction, improved accuracy and faster decision-making.
* Manage delivery of process and system improvement projects, including scope, timelines, risks and stakeholder engagement.
* Partner with Finance, IT and operational teams to design and implement system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* Champion change management and user adoption, including development of training materials and embedding new ways of working.
Your Background / Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within finance or shared services environments, ideally across AP/AR and procurement processes.
* Strong working knowledge of Workday and Adaptive Planning (highly desirable).
* Demonstrated experience delivering process improvement and transformation initiatives in complex organisations.
* Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate data into insights and practical solutions.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across finance, IT and business teams.
* Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
