Are you passionate about supporting young people with their mental health and wellbeing?

We are looking for an enthusiastic headspace Clinician (Grade 1) to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference for young people aged 12–25, providing early intervention support, evidence-based brief interventions, case management, and counselling. You'll work alongside a supportive team in a dynamic and youth-friendly environment, with a strong focus on growth and professional development.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a headspace Clinician, you will:

* Build connections with young people and support their engagement with headspace and other services.
* Complete intake and assessment functions, including thorough risk assessments and safety planning.
* Deliver evidence-based early and brief mental health interventions.
* Provide case management and facilitate referrals to internal and external supports.
* Contribute to group programs and, where appropriate, provide medium-term therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice.
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other service providers to ensure holistic care.
* Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and contribute to program administration.
* Actively participate in supervision, professional development, and team activities.
* Support awareness-raising events and community engagement activities (occasional after-hours work may be required).

The role is primarily supported to work with young people presenting with low–moderate risk and complexity. You'll be encouraged to build your clinical skills with strong supervision and ongoing development opportunities.

ABOUT YOU

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

* A tertiary completed qualification (Cert IV or above) in mental health, youth work, or related field, with at least two years relevant experience.
* A passion for working with young people and their families.
* Knowledge of evidence-based approaches to early intervention in youth mental health.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to professional growth, reflective practice, and values-based service delivery.
