Job Title: DMV/Title Clerk
The role of a DMV/Title Clerk involves handling information regarding motor vehicle registration and processing legal documents. They must be administratively adept, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain customer satisfaction and quality to the highest standards.
* Process documents for state registration, complete tax and title documents, and send bills, contracts, warranties, and service contracts to the appropriate agencies.
* Verify accuracy in all documents, checks for completeness, and signatures on required parts of forms.
* Check vehicle sale and purchase prices for accuracy.
* Organize and maintain files related to vehicle sales or transfers.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Prior experience in a car or RV dealership is preferred but not required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks and organize schedules.
* Working knowledge of Motor Vehicle Regulations and Procedures.
